Description
This beloved generation of R1 features the ‘Big Bang’ motor, a MotoGP derived unit that produces a remarkable growling engine note that pulses through the under tail exhausts. The bike also had pre selectable riding modes added to the existing YCC-T fly-by-wire throttle system: Standard, A (most powerful), and B.
This bike has been through our service department and passed an 105 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also flushed the cooling system.
This one owner R1 was brought to us with only eight thousand miles and is featured in yellow and black livery that was exclusive to this year.
