To create this unique bike, Ducati joined forces with Diesel fashion brand in 2013 to create a special edition model of the very popular Monster 1100 EVO. They started by applying black treatment to the trellis frame, wheels, footrest hangers, handlebars, engine covers, exhaust system and forks. Finally, the exclusive ‘Diesel Brave Green matte’ livery was applied, delivering an authentic Italian naked roadster with a rugged military vehicle feel.

This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our tech also mounted and balanced a fresh set of tires, and installed a new drive chain and set tension.

Our techs completed the operations required of Ducati’s Desmo valve clearance check and adjustment. This exhaustive scheduled maintenance is critical to performance and longevity. Over 20 different checks and adjustments are required, including replacement of all belts, spark plugs, and all valve cover gaskets and seals.

This limited edition Monster 1100 EVO Diesel was brought to us as a trade-in loaded with high-quality aftermarket goodies. Many basics are already installed, including a set of Rizoma brake and clutch master cylinder reservoirs. However, the real star of the show is the single headlight conversion that utilizes a Motodemic bracket kit that incorporates a modern LED headlight, achieving a clean and minimalist look.
