Description
The Automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT) in Honda’s Africa Twin is a breakthrough feature that makes riding easier and more fun. What is the DCT transmission? The simplest explanation of this system is that the bike shifts automatically, just like an automatic car. There are also four different “modes” that the DCT can be set to, depending on how aggressive you want to ride.
This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include a oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our techs also mounted and balanced a fresh set of tires.
This Africa Twin is the DCT model featuring a riding experience that’s very similar to an automatic vehicle– no clutch needed! Brought to us by it’s only owner, this unit is in amazing shape with only eight thousand miles.
