Description
In 2018, it didn’t take much for the CRF450R to retain its crown as the best motocrosser of the year. A few tweaks to ECU settings, a different set of engine hangers, plus stiffer springs and updated valving in the Showa 49mm coil-spring fork and Showa shock were all it took. A nice touch? Electric start came as an option on the 2017 model, while the 2018 machine is fitted with it standard.
This bike has been through our service department and passed an 89 pt. reconditioning & inspection process. Some of the points include an oil & filter change, flush and bleed of all brake/clutch fluids, inspection of all wear items, an electrical & charging system test, safety & lighting check, adjustment of controls, torque check of major fasteners, a diagnostic check with a scanner, and of course a test ride to check for proper operation of the bike. Our tech also replaced the fork seals and fluid, and installed a new chain and set tension.
This CRF450R was brought to us with several basic upgrades completed in excellent overall condition.
