This notice explains how Onyx Moto handles information when you use our website or request an offer for your motorcycle. It describes our current operating practices; it is not a promise that every privacy law applies in the same way in every location.
Information you provide
When you request an offer, we collect the contact, motorcycle, condition, ownership, location, photo, and other details you choose to submit. We use that information to evaluate the motorcycle, prepare and discuss an offer, complete a possible purchase, prevent abuse, support our records, and improve the intake experience.
Website and advertising measurement
Onyx Moto uses first-party website records and selected Google measurement services to understand visits and successful offer requests. A successful advertising conversion is recorded only after the request has been saved. Our current Onyx sell pages do not send customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, VINs, notes, photos, or raw advertising click identifiers as analytics event fields.
Advertising links may include identifiers such as Google or Microsoft click IDs. Those identifiers arrive in the landing-page URL and can appear in restricted hosting or security access logs before the intake sanitizes them. Inside the intake, raw identifiers are kept only in restricted first-party attribution records. Public analytics, cross-frame messages, ordinary staff dashboards, and business-safe reports receive only approved events, presence flags, and derived source categories. Microsoft advertising activity is currently read for reporting; the Onyx sell page does not currently send a Microsoft conversion event.
Browser storage and the 90-day window
The Onyx sell experience may store a sanitized source snapshot and a separate encrypted, opaque attribution token in your browser for a fixed period of up to 90 days from the accepted first visit. The safe snapshot can include approved campaign labels, landing and referring-page context, timestamps, and whether a click identifier was present, but it does not store the raw click-identifier value. The token is cleared sooner when it expires, the measurement choice is denied, the context is invalid, or a successful submission resets the intake attribution window.
You may use your browser settings to block or clear browser storage. Measurement being unavailable does not prevent a first-party offer request from being submitted.
Submitted records and retention
Submitted lead, motorcycle, photo, security, audit, and restricted attribution records may remain in our protected systems for dealership operations, transaction history, fraud prevention, reporting, and legal or accounting needs. The 90-day browser limit does not mean that a submitted business record is automatically deleted after 90 days. We limit access to private attribution evidence and do not expose raw click identifiers in ordinary analytics or leadership views.
Email and text choices
Advertising measurement, commercial email, direct staff email, and text messaging are separate choices. A commercial email unsubscribe applies to the stated brand and mailing list and does not automatically stop a direct reply about an active request. Text-message opt-out is handled through our messaging provider; reply STOP to opt out where that option is offered. We do not silently re-enable an email or text opt-out from an advertising or staff-workspace change.
Service providers and safeguards
We use service providers for website hosting, secure data storage, analytics, advertising measurement, email, and text communications. Access is limited to the role each provider performs. We use server-side validation, restricted database access, encrypted attribution tokens, origin checks, rate limits, audit records, and separate brand destinations to reduce unauthorized access, duplicate actions, and cross-brand mixing.
